Do I have to use the glass shop my insurance company recommends?
No. By South Carolina law, it is your legal right to choose any auto glass shop you prefer. Stono River is an approved provider for all major insurance carriers, and we will handle the claim and paperwork on your behalf.
How long will my windshield replacement take?
Most replacements take about 60 to 90 minutes. However, for your safety, we require a minimum 60-minute Safe Drive-Away Time to allow the high-quality adhesive to cure properly before you get back on the road.
Do you charge an extra fee for mobile service?
Not at all. We are 100% mobile, and we provide free mobile service to your home, office, or any convenient location within our Tri-County service area.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
We stand behind our craftsmanship. We provide a lifetime warranty against leaks and defects for as long as you own your vehicle. If you ever have a problem with our work, we’ll make it right.
Can you fix a rock chip, or do I need a whole new windshield?
Generally, if the chip is smaller than a quarter and not in the driver’s direct line of sight, we can repair it. Repairing a chip is faster and keeps the factory seal of your windshield intact.
